Chinese researchers have figured out the main factors affecting carbon and nitrogen cycling on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, according to a research article published recently in the journal Nature Reviews Earth and Environment.
A research team from the Northwest Institute of Eco-Environmental and Resources conducted a study at the long-term observation site of alpine ecosystems in the permafrost region of the Shule River headwater on the northeastern margin of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
